Old Town Historical and Underground Tour

2.Old Town Historical and Underground Tour

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 1,574 reviews · 1 hour 30 minutes (approx.) · from $27

Small-group Old Town walk plus underground vaults in Edinburgh’s South Bridge area, with relaxed storytelling and Kirk and kirkyard stops.

“Saturn/Frederick was excellent! Knowledgeable, entertaining and a pleasure to follow around Edinburgh. We heard well rehearsed stories and anecdotes of Scottish history as we walked around the city and saw what was left of the tales. It was a very easy pace so would be accessible for mixed age groups but the shallow winding staircase made it not suitable for those with physical challenges. It's mostly outdoors so dress appropriately! Thoroughly enjoyed it, would recommend!”

He was very knowledgeable about the sites that we saw, very interactive as we traveled throughout the countryside, and was excited as we were as we saw the Salmon migrating upstream. He helped to redirect our activities as the weather was not ideal and knew where our time would be best spent due to the rainy conditions. The vehicle was roomy and clean as we had 6 people in our party. Alec even brought along some food items that were Scotland originals.”
